NOTABLE DATES:

Early bird discount of $20 ends Saturday February 1st, 2025 @ 11:59PM (*1)

Friend Request Deadline Saturday April 12th, 2025 @ 11:59PM (procedure below)

Registration closes Sunday April 27, 2025 @ 11:59PM

Space allowing, all registrations after the close of registration will be subject to a $25 late fee

Season Starts Tuesday May 20th, 2025 and ends Thursday August 14th, 2025

Photo Day Sunday June 8th, 2025 at Clarkson Community Centre

Clarkson Cup Saturday August 16th, 2025

Exception Dates Tuesday July 1st, Saturday August 2nd, and Monday August 4th, 2025

You will expect to hear from your coach or division convenor the week of Monday May 12th

**Any dates above that are deadlines, ensure you do not miss them as there will be no extensions to keep everything fair for all**

 

FRIEND "REQUEST": DEADLINE APRIL 12th

Your child may submit ONE friend as a REQUEST to play with on the same team (during the registration process ONLY) and that one request must be RECIPROCATED.  

Procedure: During the registration process ONLY, enter only the first and last name of your request in the note section.  Any additional info entered here will go unseen.  The player you are requesting must follow the same procedure during registration for the request to be considered.

Friend requests WILL NOT be considered after the registration process has been completed, email requests WILL NOT be considered.   

Deadline for friend request registrations is April 12th, 2025. Specific coach requests are not accepted.  Submitting a "request" is not a guarantee that it will be accommodated and no refunds will be given if a friend request can not be honoured.

Clarkson's philosophy is for players to make new friends from season to season, have new experiences and to have fair balanced teams so they have a season of fun.  Having fair balanced teams is paramount and friend requests make this difficult.  While, every effort will be made to accommodate such requests, the integrity and balance of the division will always be paramount therefore we cannot accommodate all "requests".

**Please note if you are requesting to co-coach with a specific person, this will be considered your child's friend request.***

 

VOLUNTEERING:

Clarkson SC is, and always has been, a volunteer driven community organization.  We need your help!!  Please indicate on your registration form your willingness to help with convening, coaching, or special events.

  • Each division requires a convener
  • All conveners will be supported and work directly with the director of house league
  • Each team requires two co-coaches
  • All coaches will be supported with pre-season coaching.
  • Parents will be required to participate in a coaching rotation schedule, should a team NOT have a coach.

EQUIPMENT:

All players receive a jersey, a pair of shorts, a pair of socks and a ball.  Uniform will be handed out by the coach in May.  Players are responsible for shin pads that are mandatory for all age groups and appropriate footwear (cleats). 

 

FIELDS:

Field locations are TBA. Click HERE for fields currently used by Clarkson SC.  Fields are subject to change based on permits confirmed by the city.

DIVISIONS/FEES/PRACTICE/GAME NIGHT

Family sibling discount.  Receive a discount of $20/sibling after the first full registration, until the close of registration on April 27th, when registered in the same account at the same time. 


U4-U7 TIMBITS SOCCER

U4-U7 play one time per week, combining practice and game within one session. Please see chart below for the proposed day/time.

U8-U10

U8-U10, have one practice session separate from their game nights (proposed game nights listed below). Practices are scheduled as per the coach availability (no weekends). So this night is not available to you until you have your coach assigned in mid May.

U11-U12

U11/12, have one practice session separate from their game nights (proposed game nights listed below). Practices are scheduled as per the coach availability (no weekends). So this night is not available to you until you have your coach assigned in mid May.

U13-U14 BOYS

U13 and up, have one practice session separate from their game nights (proposed game nights listed below). Practices are scheduled as per the coach availability (no weekends). So this night is not available to you until you have your coach assigned in mid May.

U13/U14/U15 GIRLS Division FULL

Over the past few years, we have seen a decline in enrollment within this division. This year, we are partnering with Erin Mills Soccer Club to provide the girls with an enhanced and competitive season.

  • Our games will continue to be held on Monday evenings.
  • We will play home and away games.
  • Home games will tentatively be held at Lewis Bradley (7PM).
  • Away games will be held at Marco Muzzo and Jim Murray Park. 
  • Away games will start at 6:30PM.
  • Practices will be held on a separate evening and shared once coaches are in place.

BU15/16/17

Unfortunately, as in past seasons, house league registrations dip as the players hit high school age, because of this it is hard to run a full division program.  To continue to support interested players, formal teams will not be defined, rather each week teams will be formed based on attendance on game night and have the most competitive game possible.  They will also have regularly scheduled practices that is TBD.  This has been a successful program since it began two years ago.  That being said, should there be an uptake in registrations, there is always the possibility for the traditional division play.

We use Power Up for our registrations.  Power Up is very user friendly.  Click the Register button to take you to the site.  If you have a Power Up account already you can just sign in, ensure you have all your children added into your account and you are set to register them.  If you are new to Power Up click sign up and follow the instructions.  If your child is not in your profile you won't see a program to register for.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

"In regards Clarkson SC's policy on inclement weather, please read the  Ontario Soccer Association's current policy regarding thunder and lightning. Notwithstanding the extremities covered in the CSA NOTICE (Adobe document on the right), Clarkson SC has always maintained a policy that soccer is an all weather sport played in a variety of conditions. Our season is short, weekday facilities are limited, so the rescheduling of games is impossible. Formal exceptions to this policy would include the closure of fields by the city, or the determination by a match official that field conditions rendered play impossible or dangerous.In divisions with match officials, the determination is made just prior to game time, in discussion between coaches and the match official. In the U/4-U/6 divisions, there are no referees, so coaches stand in lieu of a formal game official. In situations of heavy persistent rain, or extreme temperature, or any other special circumstances, coaches are empowered to make a decision to cancel ,in consultation with parents and fellow coaches."
