CLARKSON PLAYERS SCOUTED AS TOP RECRUITS
Through the combined efforts of Clarkson Soccer Club's Scholarship Coordinator - Adrian Ibanez and CSC's technical staff, Clarkson is being looked at as high potential for US College recruiting.
Graduate Assistant Coach and Recruitment Scout, Madeline Barbarino from Nyack College, New York State -NCAA Division 11 College - a highly ranked US College has come to Clarkson to see our players and understand our highly recommended training program and player development philosophy.
Coach Barbarino comments on Clarkson Rep Program, saying "coaches are doing it right, not just the technical and fundamental side of soccer but incorporating the medical conditioning is outstanding because that is what the pros are doing. This is great vision and not just talking about a high level of training but they are actually doing this here (at Clarkson)"
The Technical Training Program at Clarkson, has always maintained a philosophy that the intensity and player development standards would hold the same for the girls as it does for the boys. Barbarino sees this result on the field, "the girls are edgy and cheeky, and you have to be that way in order to complete at higher level against players that can be 2-3 years older then you. I see that trainers train on point and do not miss an opportunity to push the girls to play with their body, this is development that we do not see at community level clubs.
